POLICIES


 1.    RESERVATIONS:  Please schedule all services at least 14 days in advance for availability.  

        Please do not leave town without confirming your reservation with GABE'S AT YOUR DOOR.

 

  2.    PET SITTING CANCELLATION AND REFUND:

         (Please notify us in advance if you need cancel a service or plan to return early from your trip)

NATIONAL HOLIDAY - Payment in full is charged (NO REFUNDS)

0-48 Hours - Payment is charged in full (NO REFUNDS)

3-5 Days - 20% of service is charged (80% REFUND)

6+ Days - No Charge, full refund.

($10.00 fee per day will be added to any scheduled visits that fall on a National Holiday, listed below)

  * New Year's Day Martin Luther King * Washington's Birthday (Presidents Day) * Memorial Day *

* 4th of July * Labor Day * Columbus Day * Veteran's Day * Thanksgiving & The day after Thanksgiving *

* Christmas Eve * Christmas Day * New Year's Eve *


  3.   PURCHASES OF SUPPLIES:  Pet owner will reimburse GABE'S AT YOUR DOOR, should we be

        required to purchase pet food, litter, cleaning supplies, etc. Receipt of purchase will be provided to

        the homeowner.


  4.  ADDITIONAL PET CARE ASSISTANCE and/or OTHER SCHEDULED SERVICES:

       GABE'S AT YOUR DOOR, Pet Sitting Services accepts no responsibility for security of the premises or

       loss if other individuals have access to the home before, during or immediately after the term of our

       Agreement.  GABE'S AT YOUR DOOR, Pet Sitting Services does not accept liability for other person(s)

       who will be in your home prior to, during, or immediately after our services have been rendered.  Please

       inform us at the time of the consultation of anyone who may have access to your home while you are

       away.  This includes cleaning services, maintenance personnel, friends, family and neighbors.  It is

       understood that the client will notify anyone with access to the home that the services of GABE'S AT

       YOUR DOOR, Pet Sitting Services has been engaged.


  5.  INCLEMENT WEATHER:

       You will entrust GABE'S AT YOUR DOOR, Pet Sitting Services, to use best judgement in caring for your

       pet(s) and home at the time of inclement weather.  GABE'S AT YOUR DOOR, Pet Sitting Services will do

       their best to carry out your instructions to the best of their ability.  Every effort will be made to drive to

       your home.  The service schedule may be changed, interrupted or altered due to circumstances.  If it is

       impossible to drive safely to your home, your emergency contact will be notified.


6.    MEDICATION, VACCINATIONS & IMMUNIZATIONS:

       GABE'S AT YOUR DOOR, Pet Sitting Services will attempt to administer medications as directed, but cannot        be held responsible for complications that arise as a result.  Under no circumstances will GABE'S AT YOUR        DOOR, Pet Sitting Services service any pet that has any form of active contagious illness. GABE'S AT YOUR        DOOR, Pet Sitting Services require that all pets have the necessary vaccinations and immunizations before          service begins.  We may ask to see proof of vaccinations.  If an employee of GABE'S AT YOUR DOOR, Pet            Sitting Service is bitten or exposed to any disease or ailment received from the client's pet(s) which has not        been properly or currently vaccinated, the client will be responsible for all costs and damages that may be            incurred as a result.


7.    PET WASTE & HOUSE CLEANLINESS:

       GABE'S AT YOUR DOOR, Pet Sitting Services will properly dispose of your pet(s) waste and will clean up              after your pet, to the best of our ability. We require that you provide plastic bags for this purpose and                    indicate where you would like these waste bags disposed of.  Please inform us of the designated area for              the appropriate cleaning supplies. GABE'S AT YOUR DOOR, Pet Sitting Service is not responsible for carpet        and/or flooring stains created by your pet(s).  We request that you provide plastic bags, towels, cleaning              products, paper towels and trash bags.  


8 .   COLLARS, LEASHES & FENCES:

       Please provide us with secure collars with appropriate tags for all dog(s).  All dog(s) will be walked on                  leashes.  GABE'S AT YOUR DOOR, Pet Sitting Services does not accept responsibility or liability for  any              client's animals that escape or become lost or injured, fatal or otherwise, when instructed to leave the                    clients animals in a fenced area.  This includes electronic, wood, metal or any other types of fences.


 9.   HOUSEHOLD EMERGENCIES & THERMOSTATS:

       Please provide the name and number of a trusted maintenance company or a person you can rely on to                attend any household emergencies that may arise during your absence.  GABE'S AT YOUR DOOR, Pet                  Sitting Services will not be liable for any household emergencies including but not limited to leaking pipes,          malfunction of water heaters, heating and/or air units, etc.  Please leave your thermostat setting within a              normal comfortable range.  If the house temperature is not at a comfortable range, we will adjust                            accordingly.


10.  PAYMENT & RETURN CHECK FEES:

       GABE'S AT YOUR DOOR, Pet Sitting Services accepts cash and checks.  Payment is due at the time of the

       in-home consultation unless otherwise agreed upon.  All services are paid in advance.  There is a $35.00 fee        for all return checks.  Clients are responsible for all costs of collections.


11.  PRIVACY POLICY & UPDATES:

       All of your information will be kept private and confidential.  GABE'S AT YOUR DOOR, Pet Sitting Services            highly respects our clients entrusting us with the care of their home and pets.  Please inform us of any                  changes regarding your contact number, your pets care needs and other pertinent information.
